When light doesn’t deceive: why CRI really makes a difference

Color changes, depth changes, even the perception of materials changes.
And it’s not an optical effect: it’s color rendering that determines how much what you see… is truly what’s there.

CRI quality directly affects visual perception:
good color rendering reproduces colors in their correct form — without distortion and without compromise.
Poor color rendering, on the other hand, creates that feeling that ‘something is off,’ even when the environment or the product itself is excellent.
When the light is right, everything takes on its true form: materials, textures, depth.
When it isn’t, the environment loses value — even if the product is outstanding.

Why CRI is not a detail at Nauled
For us, light is not just illumination: it’s precision, reliability, fidelity.
And precisely because of the importance of color rendering, we made a clear choice:
for our spotlights, our standard is CRI > 90.
It’s not an option.
It’s a design choice.
Because faithful lighting isn’t just about ‘seeing better’:
it’s about seeing correctly — especially where accurate material perception is pure functionality.
