Between innovation and 45 years of history: our contribution at the ANICA Technical Conference in Besate

On May 5th, 2026, we took part in the ANICA Technical Seminar held at Cascina Caremma, in Besate (Milan), an event that brought together companies, technicians, and professionals from the elevator industry for a day rich in technical updates, discussion, and knowledge sharing.
For us at Nauled, it was not only an opportunity to follow the latest regulatory developments, but also to bring our vision of elevator lighting to the stage.
In this article, we share the highlights of the day and the key points from our speech.

Evolving standards: ISO 8100 and new EN 81

The day opened with two highly relevant technical presentations.
ISO 8100: new requirements
Eng. Antonio Lizza (ANICA Technical Expert) presented the main requirements of the new ISO 8100 standards, highlighting the most relevant aspects for professionals working on elevator systems.
A particularly useful session to better understand:
- the operational impacts for installers and maintenance technicians,
- the implications for system design.

EN 81-41 and EN 81-42: new European standards

Following this, Eng. Giuseppe Andreani (ANICA Technical Consultant) provided an in-depth overview of the new EN 81-41 and EN 81-42 standards, dedicated to lifting platforms.
A clear and practical presentation that helped outline:
- the new safety requirements,
- the differences compared to current standards,
- the impact on future installations.

Our presentation: the Nauled True Light Protocol

As event sponsors, we delivered a five-minute presentation focused on a key topic for us: light quality as a technical and competitive advantage.
We summarized our approach in two key messages.
1. Nauled True Light Protocol
During the speech, Gianluca Panzeri introduced the True Light Protocol, a standard developed by Nauled to bring elevator lighting to the next level.
A clear concept: light is not an accessory, but an element that directly impacts:
- safety,
- system reliability,
- the perception of the product by the end user.
2. A protocol that transforms your cabin
The core of the presentation was summarized in three words: reliability, efficiency, control.
- Reliability
Components designed to withstand vibrations, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.
The result is a significant reduction in failures, service calls, and system downtime.
- Efficiency
A system designed to deliver high color rendering, over 60,000 hours of lifespan, and optimized energy consumption.
A tangible benefit for both companies and end users.
- Control
With the True Light Protocol, the concept of lighting completely changes.
This means: having a recognizable quality standard, reducing installation time through plug & play solutions, improving the perception of the system, and truly differentiating in the market.
It is not just about providing light, but about controlling the final result and your competitive positioning.

A moment of discussion… and celebration

The day concluded with lunch at Cascina Caremma, an opportunity for networking and exchange among participants.
A moment made even more meaningful by the celebration of ANICA’s 45th anniversary, an important milestone that highlights the value and continuity of a key association for the elevator industry.

What we take away from this day

The ANICA Technical Seminar in Besate brought together:
- regulatory updates,
- technical vision,
- professional exchange.
For us, it was also an opportunity to reaffirm a key concept that guides every project we develop:
light is not a detail, but a strategic element of the system.
When designed with a method, it improves safety, enhances the cabin, and strengthens the perceived quality of the product.
This is where the real difference begins.
