Today we’re sharing an anecdote.
Because yes—every name has a story; nothing is chosen by chance.
Friends, clients, and suppliers have often asked us:
“But what does NAULED really mean? Why this name?”

To understand it, we need to go back to around 2012.
At the time, someone claimed that the company’s original name had been copied. We reached an agreement and moved on.
The only condition? Finding a completely new name.
Easy to say. Much harder to do.
We were looking for a name that:
-was Made in Italy, just like the soul of the company,
-didn’t already exist in other countries,
-had an available domain and email addresses,
-didn’t infringe on anyone else’s rights or trademarks.

For about 15 days, we tried, repeated, erased, and rewrote name after name. Nothing seemed to work. Then we said to ourselves:
“We need a name that hasn’t been used yet… and that includes the word LED.”
The answer was right in front of us.
Non Ancora Usato LED → NAULED.
Simple. Clean. Unique.
And perfect to represent what we wanted to build.
