ANICA Technical Conference 2025

ANICA Lift Day 2025: a look back at our day in Genoa and the role of light in elevator systems

On November 6, 2025, we took part in the ANICA Technical Conference, the leading event for companies, technicians, and professionals in the elevator industry.
A day full of technical insights, regulatory updates, and opportunities for discussion that represented an important moment for us at Nauled to share our expertise in elevator lighting.

In this article, we look back on the day and explore the key topics discussed.

An event focused on regulations, innovation, and elevator maintenance

The morning of the Technical Conference opened with greetings from the ANICA President, followed by a presentation by Eng. Francesco Burrelli, who addressed several key topics for the industry:

  • regulatory updates and possible extensions of the 75% tax incentive,
  • administrative management in the relationship between building managers, condominium owners, and elevator companies,
  • replacement of obsolete systems and new technologies for predictive maintenance.

A clear and up-to-date overview that helped professionals navigate between regulatory requirements and the real needs of the market.

Our talk: “The right light for every system”

As official sponsors, during the dedicated session we presented our talk entitled “The right light for every system”, drawing attention to a concept that guides every one of our projects: light is not universal.

Every elevator system has different dimensions, materials, finishes, and geometries.

The same light source, installed in two different cabins, can produce completely different results.

That’s why the right light is always the one designed for the specific system—never a standard, one-size-fits-all choice.

Technical sessions: safety and mandatory maintenance

In the afternoon, Eng. Giuseppe Andreani addressed a highly relevant topic: safety in residential buildings, with a particular focus on responsibilities related to elevators.

Subsequently, Eng. Antonio Lizza clearly and practically explained all aspects related to mandatory periodic maintenance, including timelines, inspections, and requirements that every company must comply with.

For us, this was a valuable moment to reflect on the importance of proper technical documentation, combined with solutions designed to ensure reliable and compliant performance over time.

What we take away from the day

The ANICA Technical Conference was an opportunity to engage with professionals, listen to the needs of the industry, and present our vision.

We shared expertise, explored regulatory aspects, and reaffirmed a key principle that guides every Nauled project:

light is an integral part of the system—and when it is well designed, it truly makes a difference.
