Every day we hear about professionalism.
In our industry, it has almost become a routine word.
Everyone uses it. Everyone claims it. And then something happens.
A phone call comes in: “I’ve completed an installation… but I’m starting to have some issues.”
Classic. I ask for pictures. And that’s when everything becomes clear.

The problem is not hidden. It’s obvious

You look at the installation… and you see it immediately.
Wrong cables. Not “not perfect.” Wrong.
We’re talking about cables designed for something completely different.
Speaker cables. Cables without double insulation. Cables that have nothing to do with an LED source.
And the question comes naturally: if you’re installing an LED strip… why are you using a speaker cable?

The point is not making it work

Because let’s be clear: it works.
You connect everything, you turn it on… and the light turns on.
So it looks like everything is fine.
But just because something works does not mean it’s correct.
It only means that, at that moment, it’s not yet a problem.

Because an inadequate cable means:

Thinking that “it’s just a cable anyway.”
No. A cable is a technical component.
And it must be chosen based on what runs through it.
If you are working with an LED strip, you need to use:
- a double-insulated cable
- a cross-section sized according to the current
This is not optional. It’s the foundation.

You do it to avoid mistakes.
